Garuda Indonesia is planning to sell seven of its ageing Boeing 737-400 aircraft this year, local media reported officials as saying yesterday. News portal tribunnews.com, cited the airline’s Finance Director, Elisa Lumbantoruan, as saying that the sale was part of the Garuda’s plan to gradually phase out its older 737s, replacing them with the new 737-800NGs.
