American Airlines has become the latest airline industry partner of the Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC).
The airline will join the GTMC to represent its joint venture with British Airways and will be attending the guild’s annual conference in Marrakech this May.
“We’re delighted to welcome American Airlines as our newest GTMC partner. Our continued support of increased capacity and expansion at both Heathrow and Gatwick airports to secure the UK’s position as a leading international hub for business travel demonstrates our commitment to the airline community. We look forward to working with the team in our first joint venture with both American Airlines and British Airways and supporting both airlines in realising their ambitions for growth,” said Paul Wait, chief executive of the GTMC.
Graham Bell, sales director American Airlines added: “The UK TMC market is hugely important to us and joining the GTMC is testament to our commitment to this channel. We are excited to be joining for the first time and more importantly to be the first to join in alliance with British Airways.”
