04 Feb 10, Tumon, Guam – The Guam Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce Belka Tours Guam is open for business as the island’s first tour agency targeting Russians and other eastern Europeans.

The company first began bringing visitors to Guam eight months ago, starting with travelers from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Cyprus. By targeting Guam as an exotic vacation spot for eastern Europeans often plagued by cold weather, Belka Tours Guam has generated major support from potential vacationers.

“This is an important milestone in developing new source markets,” said GVB General Manager Gerald S.A. Perez, “and it is yet another step in diversifying and expanding Guam’s market reach. We look forward to working with Belka Tours, and welcome their membership into the Guam Visitors Bureau.”

Belka Tours Guam specializes in providing Russian visitors personal attention and knowledge about Guam’s facilities and attractions as well as providing island tours, entertainment activities, hotels, restaurant choices and sightseeing points of interest.

The company’s executive director, Vasili Mladinov, is a well-known Russian skydiver and captain of the National Skydive Team. He has broken six world records in the sport.
