Hainan Airlines will expand its North American network this summer with the launch its first ever flights to Calgary.
Commencing on 30 June 2016, the new trans-Pacific route will initially operate three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), direct from Beijing, before the addition of a Sunday service in October 2016.
The outbound flights will depart Beijing at 1600 and arrive at Calgary International Airport at 1305. The return flights then will leave the Alberta city at 1505 and get back into the Chinese capital at 1710 the following day.
Hainan Airlines will first deploy a 222-seat Airbus A330 aircraft on the route, before replacing this with its new 212-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft from 1 August.
Calgary will become Hainan Airlines’ seventh destination in North America, following Toronto, Seattle, Boston, Chicago, San Jose and Los Angeles.
