Hilton Worldwide has opened its first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the Chinese city of Xi’an.
Located in the Xi’an Hi-Tech Zone, surrounded by office space and shopping centres, the new Hilton Garden Inn Xi’an Hi-Tech Zone is 45km from Xi’an Xianyang International Airport. It becomes the company’s second hotel in the city, following the Hilton Xi’an.
“Since launching the Hilton Garden Inn brand in China in 2014, we have witnessed very positive growth in the country. The Hilton Garden Inn Xi’an Hi-Tech Zone opens as our fifth property in the Greater China region and will offer modern services and amenities to travellers visiting the beautiful Xi’an city,” said John Greenleaf, global head of Hilton Garden Inn.
The new upscale hotel offers 276 rooms, a restaurant, a 24-hour F&B area, noodle bar, fitness centre and laundry. It also houses nine function rooms that offer more than 800m² of meeting space.
