Hilton delivers meal ingredients to guest suites

Hilton has launched a new initiative that will enable long-stay guests cook full meals in the comfort of their suites.
Available at Homewood Suites by Hilton properties in the US, the new “Home Cooked Meals” programme will allow guests to order a selection of fresh ingredients and have them delivered straight to their room.
The concept has been launched in partnership with PeachDish, the US company that home-delivers groceries.
“Homewood Suites concentrates on making our guests’ stay as comfortable and convenient as possible, and we are always looking for new ways to deliver on this,” said Christian Kuhn, vice president of marketing for the Homewood Suites brand.
“Our Home Cooked Meals partnership with PeachDish provides travellers the simple pleasure of cooking a delicious, healthy meal in their suite without the hassle of shopping or buying more food than they will need.”
The new programme has been initially rolled out to Homewood Suites properties in Atlanta and Dallas for a three-month trial period. All rooms at Homewood Suites hotels come equipped with kitchens.
