Hilton Worldwife has opened a hotel with The Football Association (FA) at its new centre.

Its new Hilton and Hampton by Hilton hotels are part of the FA’s new multi-million pound National Football Centre (a.k.a. St George’s Park) at Burton on Trent. Naturally the 142-room Hilton and 86-room Hampton by Hilton are inspired by the game with limited edition prints throughout, while also nodding to sustainability.

“It is fitting that during this truly memorable summer of British sport, which has already seen the launch of Hilton London Wembley at another iconic sporting venue, we are now opening our first dual brand property in the UK at the new home of English football,” said Simon Vincent, area president, Europe at Hilton Worldwide.

Aside from its proximity to the centre, the hotels’ guests can use the bar and lounge, aptly named The Crossbar, or The Restaurant at St George’s Park that will serve British food. A spa and fitness area are also available, with free WiFi throughout.

The hotel is the chain’s first dual-branded property.
