Hilton has continued its rapid expansion in China with the launch of a new seafront hotel in Shandong province.
The new Hilton Yantai Golden Coast marks the company’s entry into Yantai, a port city of more than 2.5 million people. Located in the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Area, the property overlooks Golden Beach and many of the hotel’s 409 rooms and suites offer views of the Yellow Sea.
“Hilton Worldwide is proud to add Yantai to the growing list of key destinations where we have established at presence. Hilton Yantai Golden Coast is a great flagship hotel in an important economic zone with strong fundamentals and a positive outlook,” said Bruce McKenzie, Hilton’s senior vice president of operations for Greater China & Mongolia.
As well as the 409 rooms, Hilton Yantai Golden Coast features an executive lounge, three restaurants, private dining rooms, a bar, indoor swimming pool, 24-hour fitness centre, a rooftop tennis court and mahjong rooms.
And for the MICE market the property offers more than 3,900m² of function space, including 12 meeting rooms and two ballrooms, both of which offer sea views.
Hilton Yantai Golden Coast joins two other Hilton-branded hotels in Shandong province: Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach and Hilton Jinan South Residences.
