InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the signing of Holiday Inn Warsaw – City Centre, Poland. The hotel will operate under a management agreement with UBM.

Due to open in early 2018, the 254-room hotel is located 500 metres from the Palace of Culture and Science and Zlote Tarasy – a commercial, office and entertainment complex.
It is also less than a 10-minute walk away from the city’s main train station and a 20-minute drive from Warsaw Chopin International Airport.
Holiday Inn Warsaw – City Centre will be the first Holiday Inn hotel in Poland to feature the brand’s signature Open Lobby with a 24hr restaurant and bar.
The Holiday Inn Open Lobby has transformed the traditional hotel lobby format by combining the front desk, restaurant, bar, lounge area and business centre into one open space, while refreshing the design to give it a more contemporary feel.
Miguel Martins, director of Development, Poland, IHG said: “This hotel will be a fantastic addition to our Holiday Inn portfolio, with a great long term partner UBM. We’re thrilled Holiday Inn Warsaw – City Centre will bring the brand’s signature Open Lobby to Poland, giving domestic and international guests the chance to experience the new feature first hand. As part of our continued strategic expansion across Europe, Warsaw is a key city for us, so this is an important step for our growth in the region.”
There are currently 282 Holiday Inn hotels in Europe with a further 37 in the pipeline.
