Accomable, a global platform for finding adapted hotels and vacation rentals for disabled and elderly people, has partnered with Sykes Cottages, the UK independent cottage rental agency, to showcase accessible holiday rentals from across the UK and Ireland.
Through Accomable, disabled and elderly travellers will be able to see and book dozens of accessible holiday rentals with Sykes Cottages from across the country, with detailed accessibility information highlighted on the Accomable website, specially tailored to customers with a disability or mobility issue.
Currently featuring more than 1000 specially adapted properties for disabled and elderly people in 60 countries worldwide, Accomable has been collaborating with a number of major travel brands including InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Carlson Rezidor – and anticipates this new partnership will see the number of accessible properties on their site grow to more than 1500 by the end of the year.
Srin Madipalli, CEO at Accomable, said: “We receive a large volume of booking requests for the UK, and this new deal with Sykes Cottages will help to satisfy customer demand. Having such a well known brand onboard will enable us to offer some great new accessible stays to our users, and will open up more of our fantastic local countryside to disabled and elderly travellers.
“Our strategy is to work with as many quality brands like Sykes Cottages as possible to ensure our customers can choose the best adapted rentals and hotel rooms across the UK and worldwide.”
