Archipelago International has opened its first Hotel NEO in Surabaya.
The former Grand Citihub Hotel in Indonesia’s second largest city and now been rebranded to become the Hotel NEO Gubeng.
The boutique budget hotel underwent significant upgrades to bring it into line with NEO’s brand standards, and now features 58 rooms including LCD TVs, minibars and free Wi-Fi with speeds of up to 100 Mbps. There is also a coffee shop and two meeting rooms.
“[Surabaya’s] business travellers are demanding a higher level of service, facilities and professionalism from their accommodation. We are happy to be able to convert this hotel not only up to international standards, but also fitting our additional NEO brand features. I’m sure repeat visitors to this area will be very pleased with all the changes.” said Tenaiya Brookfield, Archipelago’s vice president of sales & marketing.
Hotel NEO Gubeng is located in the Gubeng area of the city, close to the CBD and just over half an hour’s drive from Surabaya’s Juanda International Airport. It becomes the 15th Hotel NEO in Indonesia.
