Scientists in China have discovered more than 3,000 dinosaur footprints in Shandong province, the BBC has reported. The prints, all facing the same way, are thought to belong to at least six dinosaur types, and may date back 100 million years. The prints could represent a migration or a panicked attempt to escape predators, the scientists were reported saying.
