Hyatt celebrates 30 years in India

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is celebrating 30 years of operations in India.
Hyatt introduced the Indian customer to contemporary and stylish luxury hotels and restaurants serving authentic international cuisines with the Hyatt Regency Delhi in 1983.
With three decade long operations of hotel management, Hyatt will celebrate the milestone over the last quarter of the year across every Hyatt property managed in India. Activities will include a series of exhibitions and sale of affordable art by famous Indian artists in conjunction with the Smile Foundation to raise funds for the education of underprivileged children, special promotional offers and discounts for Hyatt loyal guests, open and free sharing of an E-Foodbook by food writer and columnist Karen Anand and social media contests.
Commenting on the occasion, Shiv Kumar Jatia, Asian Hotels North Ltd, owner of Hyatt Regency Delhi said, “We opened the first Hyatt in India and our association with the brand has become stronger with each passing day. The brand stands for innovation and authenticity. We are pleased to be part of this 30 year celebration.”
Currently, Hyatt operates 17 full service and 12 service hotels in 12 destinations in India. These include three Park Hyatt Hotels, six Hyatt Regency Hotels, two Grand Hyatt Hotels five Hyatt Hotels and one Hyatt Place Hotel.
The group will soon open Hyatt Raipur, Hyatt Regency Ludhiana and Hyatt Place Pune, Hinjewadi.
