Hyatt has signed a deal that will see it launch its Hyatt Regency brand in Beijing.
Located in northeast Beijing, Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing will form part of a mixed-use development including three high-end office buildings, retail space and a central park area.
Designed by Kengo Kuma, the 349-room hotel will be integrated into the park with a sunken garden, and will feature several restaurants and bars, a fitness centre, spa, swimming pool and event space.
“We are excited to bring the Hyatt Regency brand to one of the most sought-after cities in the world and further expand Hyatt’s brand presence in the capital city of China,” said Larry Tchou, Hyatt’s group president for Asia Pacific. “We look forward to bringing Hyatt’s authentic hospitality to the Wangjing community.”
Scheduled to open in 2017, the Hyatt Regency will join the existing Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt hotels in Beijing.
