IDeaS Revenue Solutions, the provider of revenue management software and services, today announced a 95 percent client retention rate and an overall organisational growth of 12 percent in 2010. In addition, the company expanded its global reach with deployments of the IDeaS Revenue Management System at Jurys Inn, Dusit International, Meritus Hotels & Resorts, Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Hamilton Island and Millennium Hotels & Resorts. As a result, more than 443,000 hotel rooms around the world are now priced and managed using the IDeaS Revenue Management System.
IDeaS Revenue Management System (RMS) was also chosen by Marco Polo for its Hong Kong based hotels, which include over 1,500 rooms.
“Marco Polo set a high bar for us to prove our worth within their group, as prior to working with the IDeaS RMS, Marco Polo had been using a different revenue management system at their Canton Road properties. The previous system and associated support had fallen short of their expectations and, as such, Marco Polo was sceptical that another system and company could do better,” said Grahame Tate, Managing Director of IDeaS Asia Pacific. “What is especially pleasing about the Marco Polo implementation is that IDeaS support infrastructure and willingness to work with Marco Polo meant we were able to partner with the hotel group as opposed to simply selling software,” he added.
IDeaS also solicits client feedback through the ‘IDeaShare’ social network, which drives more than 50 percent of its product enhancements. This is also accomplished through the annual IDeaS Summit, a two-day event designed to bring IDeaS clients together to share best practices and enhance their use of IDeaS Revenue and Forecast Management systems.
“In our industry, the only constant is change,” said Ravi Mehrotra, President of IDeaS. “Our success lies in a two-way conversation with our clients, and addressing their unique needs regardless of what’s happening in the economy.”
Aside from its global deployment expansion in emerging markets such as India and China, IDeaS has also expanded the reach of its Hospitality Consulting practice through additional resources in Asia, Europe and the US.
