JAL Hotels is preparing to open its second UAE property - this time on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road.
General Manager Olivier Pollard (pictured) said the 471-room property would primarily cater to corporate clients but all travellers were welcome.
“The new hotel is going to feature some real Japanese influence,” he said. “We will have three Japanese restaurants as well as an Origami-themed conference centre.”
Pollard’s colleague Christian Rainalter, the General Manager of Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort, which has now been open for three years, also pointed out the opportunities to put together twin-stay packages combining the two properties.
“It will be a great way for people to mix business or the city with rest and relaxation,” he explained.
“Fujairah is not as well known as Dubai but has brilliant beaches and is the perfect way to unwind after a hectic few days in the city.
“We also have amazing snorkelling and diving which is something that goes very under reported on worldwide dive sites.”
