Japan Airlines Corp. Chairman, Kazuo Inamori, has said he wants a quick solution on a potential tie-up with a US carrier, Bloomberg has reported Inamori as saying that JAL need to “rapidly come up with a conclusion” on whether to accept offers from either American Airlines or Delta Air Lines - the world’s two largest carriers. It had been thought that JAL’s restructuring group favoured a tie-up with Delta, but a final decision is likely to be announced by the middle of this month, the report added.
