Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa has stolen a march on Movenpick’s new Royal Amwaj resort by being the first property to respond to European tour operators’ calls for all-inclusive packages.
Since London’s World Travel Market (WTM) in November, Movenpick has talking up its premium all-inclusive packages for Royal Amwaj on The Palm Jumeirah - an offering it claims European tour operators and their clients are crying out for.
However, the property is yet to open its doors and in the meantime, Jebel Ali has stepped in to fill the gap for this type of offering.
The recently refurbished resort was already offering a half-board package but has upped the ante by introducing all-inclusive packages including all meals, beverages and activities, valid for bookings of three nights of more from June.
“This means guests have lunch, dinner and snacks on a full dine-around basis in any of 15 restaurants and bars,” said Jebel Ali International Director of Sales and Marketing Mariaan Valero.
“The offer also includes all beverages with house wines, beer and spirits, and free wind surfing, catamarans, laser, kayaking and camel rides.”
In addition, two children under 16 can stay in a room with two adults free on a bed-and-breakfast basis and those under 12 can share in the same meal package as the adults without any supplement. “We also have a new Cool Zone kids’ club where we offer a free supervised evening buffet between 7.30pm and 10.30pm, as well as the usual daytime activities,” said Valero.
These promotions are in place until the end of next year.
