Jet2.com adds Airbus A330 to support busy summer

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has announced that a 327-seat Airbus A330 has come into operation at Manchester Airport for the summer.
It enables the company to add more seats and capacity to support its biggest ever summer holidays and flights programme.
The widebody aircraft, leased from AirTanker for the peak summer season, made its first flight to Lanzarote on Thursday 18 May.
The aircraft will operate to the most popular hotspots from Manchester Airport during the summer, including Majorca, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Rhodes.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will fly to 41 destinations from Manchester Airport this Summer, with two new destinations in Costa de Almeria and Halkidiki.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “Summer 2017 is shaping up to be our biggest ever from Manchester Airport so the addition of this widebody Airbus A330 will help us add more capacity to our best-selling destinations. As well as providing holidaymakers with more choice, the aircraft means that our formula of friendly flights, fantastic customer service and great comfort will be complemented even further with the addition of a spacious widebody cabin.”
The Airbus A330 will operate from Thursday until the end of October.
