Well established Global tourism technology group seeks a Director of Sales for their London based office, to lead a team and grow business from the visitor experience and attraction sector. A leader in their field and the ability to continue to invest in new technology, they have recently launched some exciting new technology products.
As Director of Sales you will be managing and contributing to the future growth and drive success. A varied role, it will suit someone who thrives in a fast paced, high energy environment.
Your responsibilities will include :
Building strategic sales plans to support growth
Provide strategy to target delivery of defined KPI’s across the sales team
Observe market trends and monitor main competitors
Provide tracking and sales forecasting
Source, maintain and maximise new and existing business
Develop excellent working relationships with tourism partners
Attend major trade shows and events and be active in the tourism trade bodies and associations
Successful Director of Sales candidates must be able to demonstrate :
Great industry wide connections in the UK & Ireland visitor experience and attraction sector
An understanding of technology
Be able to report to Board Level
Proven track record of building relationships
Building and managing a successful sales team
Proven UK & Ireland partnership management experience
A passion for coaching and developing a sales team
A successful background in tourism sales
Strong operational and analytical abilities
