Juneyao Air will launch a series of new domestic and international flights from Nanjing, the capital of eastern China’s Jiangsu province, later this month.
The Shanghai-based airline is planning to set up a new base at Nanjing’s Lukou International Airport, and will kick off its expansion with the launch of three weekly flights to the Korean island of Jeju on 27 March.
On the same day, Juneyao will launch daily domestic flights to several major Chinese cities, including Qingdao, Shenzhen, Dalian, Xiamen, Nanning, Kunming, Beihai and Shenyang. Then on 28 March it will launch four weekly flights from Nanjing to Lijiang, via Guiyang.
Juneyao Air currently operates a network of flights to destinations in China, Japan, Korea and Thailand, mainly from Shanghai’s Hongqiao and Pudong airports.
