KLM accidentally sells US$27 NZ-Europe tickets
Nearly 650 New Zealanders have snapped KLM flights to Europe for just NZ$50 (US$27) after a data inputting error on the airline’s website, The Age reported.
Their joy may be short-lived however, as KLM has reportedly begun cancelling the bookings and issuing refunds. The NZ Commerce Commission rebuked the airline for taking more than four hours to correct the mistake, but did not say whether the Dutch carrier would be made to honour the ticket sales.
