LOT Polish Airlines revealed that Beijing will be one of the first cities to be served using its new Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
The Warsaw-based carrier will start receiving its Dreamliners later this year, and has now revealed that the first aircraft will go into service on the Warsaw-Chicago route from 16 January 2013. Flights to Toronto come next on 1 February, followed by New York’s JFK airport on 3 February. Beijing flights are scheduled to commence a month later, on 3 March 2013.
“I can say with confidence this is a breakthrough moment for LOT,” said LOT’s CEO, Marcin Pirog.
“I am sure our offer of Dreamliner flights is currently the best on the market because it is an ideal combination of an advantageous price with the highest standards.”
LOT has ordered eight B787-8 Dreamliners and will equip them with three cabin classes – economy, premium economy and business class.
