In celebration of its 10 years of operation, lowcostbeds will participate at the forthcoming Arabian Travel Market to boost its network of regional travel agents. This initiative is being adopted to foster greater growth in the region.
According to group director of sales Paul Riches global expansion has enabled the group to target sales of GBP1bn within two years. “With 10 offices worldwide plus trade partners across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and Australia as well as the Middle East, lowcostbeds can offer an international network,” he said.
Response in the first year of trading in the region has been very positive, said Riches. “With a trend towards late bookings out of the Middle East, the use of lowcostbeds system to source availability and best rates is growing.”
In addition, lowcostbeds is looking to build its inbound business in to the region, adding more resorts and hotels to the system. This is being done to accommodate demand for city and beach breaks, added Riches.
