Lufthansa and its flight attendants’ union, UFO, have reached agreement at their protracted pay talks. Both sides yesterday accepted a mediated settlement, which will see a 22-month pay freeze for the airline’s 16,000 flight attendants. Other conditions include changes to duty rosters, as well as extending rest and break periods. Flight attendants will also receive EUR1,000 (US$1,345) compensation for the staggered implementation of improved working conditions.
