Macau operation boosts Wynn

Wynn Resorts Ltd has reported a fourth quarter net profit of US$114.2 million. The result marked a return to profit for the company, which suffered a loss of US$5.2 million in the same period a year previous. Wynn’s results were boosted by the performance of its Macau operation, where earnings more than doubled to US$296.8 million, boosted by a 79% surge in revenue.
“Everything is up in Macau,” Bloomberg reported the company’s founder & CEO, Steve Wynn, as saying.
