Malaysia to connect all Borneo villages by road

Almost all rural villages in the Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak will be connected by roads within 10 years, Bernama reported the country’s Deputy Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin, as saying. Under the 10th and 11th Malaysia Plans, the government plans to improve the basic infrastructure of rural communities in Borneo including roads, bridges and clean water supplies.
