Minor Hotels, which operates the Anantara and Avani brands, has secured a new global partnership with Hotelbeds.
Under the agreement, the travel trade bed-bank will distribute the inventory of all Minor’s global properties across its six brands, which also include Per Aquum, Elewana, Oaks and Tivoli.
Hotelbeds works with more than 35,000 travel industry partners, including OTAs, retail agencies, tour operators and airlines, providing its partners with a trade booking platform. Like Minor, Hotelbeds is especially strong in Asian and European markets.
“Minor Hotels’ agreement with Hotelbeds will strengthen revenue sales and distribution for all of our hotels worldwide. By diversifying our booking channels with such an innovative partner, Minor Hotels is once again opening up exciting new horizons in travel,” said Michael Marshall, Minor’s chief commercial officer.
Under the new “multi-level contract”, Minor Hotels will offer its own dynamic rates as well as wholesale rates. Minor’s hotels will be direct connected with Hotelbeds’ technology, allowing for rates, availability and inventory to be updated instantly.
Currently Minor’s portfolio comprised 152 hotels and resorts in 22 countries on four continents.
