The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has launched a web-based public delivery system to recognise travel trade service
providers.
With the launch of the web-based system, the MoT will ease the process of filing applications by the Travel Trade Service Providers seeking recognition from the MoT and also bring in transparency in granting the approvals.
The following travel trade service providers will be recognised online by the MoT:
– Inbound Tour Operators
– Travel Agents
– Domestic Tour Operators
– Adventure Tour Operators
– Tourist Transport Operators
The new procedure will accept applications online through a website etraveltradeapproval.nic.in from service providers thereby making the process paperless. The application will be examined, processed and approved or rejected within 45 days from the receipt of completed applications.
