The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has unveiled a new heritage resort in Mahabaleshwar.
Located at Sunset Point, the resort offers 125 rooms including 25 heritage suites. Each heritage suite in the property was built as early as 1880AD, have been re-modelled into heritage suites with modern facilities. The rooms are priced in the range of INR5,500 to INR7,000.
“Sprucing up of the heritage hotel, at Mahabaleshwar, to provide accommodations for a range of tourists from across the globe and from within the country, highlights our constant effort to enhance tourist’s comfort across Maharashtra,” said Dr Jagdish Patil, Managing Director of MTDC.
