A new railway bridge across Shanghai’s Huangpu River was connected yesterday. The Shanghai Daily reported that the new bridge, which connects the city’s Jinshan district to the city centre, will form part of the 56.4km-long Jinshan Railway Line, along known as Metro Line 22. The nine-stop line will be operational by the end of the year, and is intended to provide a gateway to neighbouring Zhejiang province.
