New World Hotels and Millennium & Copthorne have opened a new dual-branded hotel in Hong Kong.
The New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel marks a rebranding of the former Nikko Hotel, on the Victoria Harbour waterfront in the city’s Tsim Sha Tsui district.
The rebadged hotel will now undergo a phased HK$120 million (US$15.5m) renovation. Upon completion it will offer 464 rooms and suites and six F&B outlets, including Chinese, Japanese, French and international restaurants, plus a bar and lobby lounge.
There will be extensive conference and banqueting space, with a ballroom and 10 meeting rooms, while leisure facilities include a health club and a rooftop swimming pool. There is also a series of executive floors and Residence Club.
The New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel marks the Hong Kong debut for both New World and Millennium & Copthorne.
