Oakwood has opened another serviced residence in Tokyo.
Oakwood Premier Tokyo, which becomes the company’s ninth property in the city, welcomed its first guests on Friday. It becomes the first and only serviced residence in the Marunouchi area of Tokyo, which is recognised as Japan’s main financial and business district.
Oakwood Premier Tokyo is available for both long and short stays and offers 123 serviced apartments, all of which include home entertainment systems and 24-hour services. Facilities include meeting rooms, a fitness centre, residents’ lounge and high-speed Wi-Fi.
“Whether for an extended sojourn or a short business or vacation trip, Oakwood Premier Tokyo is a good choice, offering fully furnished apartment units complete with modern home amenities and hotel service,” said Dean Schreiber, managing director of Oakwood Asia Pacific. “Such serviced apartments are increasing in popularity amongst discerning travellers and Oakwood, with its nine properties in Tokyo, has redefined the serviced apartments product.
“We look forward to continuing the success we have achieved in Tokyo and to introducing more travellers to the benefits of our unique accommodation offering,” he added.
This becomes the second Tokyo property under the Oakwood Premier brand.
