Serviced apartment company Oakwood has unveiled a new property in Incheon, close to Seoul’s main international airport.
Set to welcome its first guests on 23 July 2014, the Oakwood Premier Incheon will cover floors 36 to 64 of South Korea’s tallest building, the 305-metre Northeast Asia Trade Tower skyscraper.
Catering to both long- and short-term stays, the property offers 423 apartments, all with kitchen areas. Facilities include the Oak Restaurant & Bar, a fitness centre, business centre and ballroom.
“We are delighted to deepen our relationship with Hanmoo Convention, the owning company of both Oakwood-branded properties in South Korea, and to be planting our flag in Incheon,” said Dean Schreiber, managing director of the Oakwood portfolio in Asia.
“Strong partnerships such as these are the key to our growth as we seek to extend our footprint and bring the Oakwood brand of accommodations to more destinations.”
The new luxury property brings the total number of Oakwood-branded properties in the Asia Pacific region to 28, and marks the company’s second development in South Korea.
