OALD obtains ISO 9001:2008 accreditation

Oman Air Learning and Development (OALD) achieved the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certification. The section works to improve standards in Civil Aviation for Oman Air’s staff and members of the public. The certification was awarded to Oman Air by Didier Michaud-Daniel, CEO of validating body Bureau Veritas at Golden Tulip Hotel in Muscat.

Abdulaziz Alraisi, chief officer – management affairs and Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Zadjali, senior manager, Oman Air Learning and Development, received the certification on behalf of the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman.
Abdulaziz bin Saud Alraisi said: “With the certification, we can continue effectively to develop implementation of global standards in education and strategic planning for future needs. It will also help us to use all our resources to maximize benefits.”
OALD offers training programmes for flight operations, engineering, in-flight and ground services, corporate communications, recruitment and human resources staff.
