Oman Air launched its inaugural flight to Guangzhou late last week.
The new route marks the airline’s arrival in China and the flights will now operate four times a week using a twin-aisle Airbus A330 aircraft. An arrival ceremony was held at the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou, attended by Oman Air’s CEO, Paul Gregorowitsch.
The outbound flights will now leave Muscat every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 1015 and arrive in Guangzhou at 2100. The return flights will then depart at 0625 the following morning and arrive back in Oman at 1100.
Guangzhou becomes Oman Air’s sixth destination in East Asia, following Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Singapore and Manila.
