One dead, seven missing in Japan boat accident

One person has died and seven other are missing after a tour boat capsized on the Tenryu River in Japan. Kyodo News reported that 24 other passengers were rescued from the river, having been thrown overboard when the boat overturned at a rocky section of the river on Wednesday afternoon. The boat was one of three vessels carrying tourists down a 6km stretch of the river in Shizuoka prefecture, 150km southwest of Tokyo.
