Philippine Airlines has formed a new partnership with Hawaiian Airlines for flights between Manila and the Aloha State.
Under the new codeshare arrangement, passengers travelling on PAL’s five weekly flights from Manila to Honolulu will be able to connect to four other destinations across Hawaii: Lihue, Hilo, Kona and Maui. Hawaiian becomes PAL’s first US codeshare partner.
“Philippine Airlines is proud to forge a codeshare partnership with Hawaiian Airlines from Honolulu… to the inter-island points of Lihue, Hilo, Kona and Maui. From these points, passengers can visit other neighbouring island destinations including Kauai and Hawaii Island,” said PAL’s president, Jaime J. Bautista said.
“As we widen our route network, we aim to not only provide point to point travel, but to create passenger traffic beyond the main gateways. All these are geared towards providing passenger convenience and satisfaction,” he added.
Under the new agreement, passengers will be able to book single-ticket travel to any of the four new Hawaiian hubs, with their baggage checked through to the final destination.
