Philippine Airlines will launch direct flights between Manila and New Delhi on 27 March 2011, following a decision by the Indian government to ease visa restrictions for Philippine travellers.
Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, said in a recent speech at the 8th India-ASEAN Summit in Hanoi, that his country would extend its visa-on-arrival facility to Philippine nationals. The new procedures started this month.
