Philippine flood death toll rises to 68
The number of people who were killed in floods and landslides in the Philippines in recent weeks has risen to 68, local media reported the country’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) as saying. Twenty six other are still missing. The NDRRMC said on Saturday that about 1.9 million people in 2,115 villages and 17 cities have been affected by the floods.
