Accor has opened its first Pullman hotel in northern China’s Shanxi province.
The new Pullman Taiyuan is located in the capital of Shanxi, 20 minutes’ drive from Taiyuan’s Wusu International Airport. The hotel features 279 rooms and suites, plus international Chinese and teppanyaki restaurants, and a lounge bar.
Other facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna and extensive conference and banqueting facilities including a 2,000m² outdoor terrace and an 800-pax capacity ballroom.
“We are excited to bring Pullman, the upscale cosmopolitan brand of Accor to Shanxi,” said Paul Richardson, chief operating officer of Accor Greater China.
“As the first Accor hotel in Shanxi, Pullman represents upscale international hospitality to this exciting new destination. We look forward to welcoming seasoned travellers from all over the world and will continue to grow and develop in the region.”
The Pullman Taiyuan becomes the upscale brand’s 19th property in China.
