Qantas has introduced a new digital experience for passengers at airport lounges across Australia.
Designed in partnership with oOh! Media, QView delivers relevant news, sport, weather and bespoke content across a digital screen network, through world-leading technology, including real-time boarding notifications to customers’ own devices using the complimentary Wi-Fi in the lounge.
This change is the first part of a major refresh of the entertainment Qantas offers customers, both on the ground and in the air.
Qantas Group executive manager for brand, marketing and corporate affairs, Olivia Wirth, said new technology and a focus on improving people’s travel experience will drive a series of improvements to Qantas’ entertainment offering, to be gradually rolled out over the next few months.
“From early August customers will notice a big increase in the amount of content we offer on board, including almost doubling the number of new-release blockbusters and more virtual box sets of popular TV series,” said Ms. Wirth.
