Qatar Airways deploys A380 for Bangkok

Bangkok will soon witness the touch-down of Qatar Airways’ A380 aircraft following the inaugural service to London Heathrow earlier this month. The airline is scheduled to commence the A380 service between Doha and Paris Charles De Gaulle, followed by an additional London service by the end of the year. The new route will commence on 5 January 2015.
Qatar Airways group chief executive, HE Akbar Al Baker, said: “Bangkok is one of the most popular destinations for travellers around the world. We have witnessed a steady growth in terms of the number of passengers over the years on this route.”
The Qatar Airways A380 business class cabin will features 48 seats on the upper deck in a 1-2-1 configuration. There are two economy class cabins with 56 seats on the upper deck in a 2-4-2 configuration, and 405 seats on the main deck in a 3-4-3 configuration.
