The Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) in Brisbane reopened today. To celebrate the occasion, the city’s Cultural Centre Precinct will hold a special reopening celebration this weekend with two days of free family activities. All funds raised will be donated to the Flood Relief Appeal. The ’21st Century: Art in the First Decade’ exhibition, which prior to closure had attracted more than 139,000 visitors, will continue at GoMA until April 2011.
