Marriott International has launched its second Renaissance Hotel in India – almost 14 years after opening the first.
The new Renaissance Lucknow Hotel joins the brand’s existing property in Mumbai, and adds 112 rooms and suites to Renaissance’s Indian inventory. Rising 16 storeys, it becomes the tallest hotel in Lucknow and offers views of the Gomti River.
“Lucknow is fast emerging as a cultural and business hub in Uttar Pradesh and makes for the perfect location for a Renaissance Hotel,” said Rajeev Menon, Marriott’s chief operating officer for Southeast Asia & Pacific. “Renaissance Hotels is a global, lifestyle hospitality brand that seeks to inspire and provoke its guests to discover something new and different each and every time they visit.”
The contemporary hotel features a range of facilities, including two restaurants, a patisserie, a yoga studio, fitness centre and a 16th floor rooftop swimming pool with sky bar. It also offers more than 2,400m² of function space.
“The Renaissance Lucknow Hotel brings a modern, new face of hospitality to Lucknow and is sure to set benchmarks in the city,” said Rahul Maini, GM of the new hotel. “With our vibrant new F&B options, extensive leisure facilities and insights into the city, we are confident that the hotel will be a favourite for travellers and Lucknow residents alike.”
