The Battlestar Galactica rollercoaster at Universal Studios Singapore reopened yesterday after 11 months. Channel NewsAsia reported that the ride, which is one of the theme park’s main rides, has undergone repair work after faults were detected just a week after the park’s opening last year. Fatigue cracks were detected in a welded area of the seat support structure, which attaches the rollercoaster’s seats to its frame. All welded components have been replaced and the past nine months have been spent testing the ride.
