Royal Brunei Airlines has announced a major rebranding of its frequent flyer programme.
Unveiled this month at Brunei’s Empire Hotel & Country Club, the Royal Skies FFP’s marketing materials and membership cards now feature a new colour scheme and design.
And the programme has also developed a new range of member benefits, including non-expiry of miles for Elite Gold card members, and the ability for members in all tiers to earn miles on a wider range of fare categories. In terms of redemptions, members will now have the ability to purchase tickets using a mix of cash and miles, as well as redeeming points at Royal Skies partners companies.
Addressing the launch event, Dermot Mannion, deputy chairman of Royal Brunei, said; “RB is very grateful for the loyalty and support of our Royal Skies members and we are delighted to have had this opportunity to express our thanks to many of our Elite Gold members in person.
“We are also very confident that the rebranded Royal Skies programme will, over time, surprise and delight our members with a variety of new features.”
The rebranding process will also include the renovation of the Royal Skies Service Centre. Located at RB Plaza in Bandar Seri Begawan, a new Elite Lounge is currently under development to cater for members.
Finally, a new “heritage-inspired” uniform will be adopted by all Royal Brunei’s commercial, Royal Skies and ground staff.
