Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) today announced plans to streamline its operations with the suspension of several routes. The national carrier will cut all flights to Auckland, Brisbane, Perth and Ho Chi Minh City from October 2011. Flights to the Malaysian city of Kuching will also be suspended from next month.
“It was not an easy decision to reduce RBA’s route network. However, it is the first step towards creating a stronger foundation that will allow the airline to enhance our value to customers,
employees, and society,” stated the airline’s Deputy Chairman, Dermot Mannion.
Passengers who have purchased tickets for travel on suspended flights are are requested to contact their travel agent or the RBA ticketing office.
