The UAE’s award-winning Royal Jet is to intensify efforts at optimising opportunities in the fast-growing Indian private jet sector by showcasing its services at the Indian Business Aviation Expo (IBAE). Taking place from 21-23 February at the Shangri-La Hotel in New Delhi, the executive flight services company will use the opportunity to strengthen and promote its partnership with Aviation Services Management (ASM) - Royal Jet’s newly appointed general sales agent in India. “IBAE presents us with a unique platform to introduce our business relationship with ASM as we present a new era of luxury private aviation service to the Indian market,” said Fahad Wali, acting vice president commercial, Royal Jet. “As the number of high net worth individuals in India increases at a much faster pace than elsewhere in the world, such an event offers tremendous potential for us to explore promising business opportunities. The UAE and India’s long history of strong economic and trade relations makes it a key market in Royal Jet’s global expansion efforts. And as the country’s dedicated business aviation event tailored to the needs of the Indian market, we are aiming to increase our network of brokers and private jet users in India at IBAE, specifically HNWI’s, corporate and government departments.” The IBAE event comes against the backdrop of transport analysts and consultants’ predictions of approximately 350-400 million Indian nationals opting to travel by air annually by 2020.
