Flights have been delayed at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport in eastern China’s Zhejiang province after a crack was detected on the runway. Local media reported airport officials as saying that all inbound and outbound flights were suspended after what was described as a “minor” crack was discovered during a weekly inspection. Approximately 30 flights and 1,000 passengers were affected as the crack was repaired. Flight operations restarted on Monday afternoon.
